Biomass Power Project – Indonesia

Background

KPP in Indonesia has invested in two Biowatt 500 biomass gasification power generation systems to produce renewable electricity for grid connection.

The project utilizes coconut husk and wood chips as fuel, converting these abundant local biomass resources into clean energy through advanced gasification technology. The generated syngas powers high-efficiency gas engines, ensuring stable and sustainable electricity output.

By transforming agricultural and forestry waste into green energy, KPP Biomass Power Project contributes to Indonesia’s clean energy goals, reduces carbon emissions, and showcases the potential of biomass-to-power solutions in the region.
