Microgrids
Microgrid Design refers to a localized power network that can operate independently or in connection with the main grid. It integrates distributed energy resources such as biomass gasification systems, solar PV, wind turbines, and energy storage to provide reliable, flexible, and sustainable power supply.
At Greenwatt, we specialize in designing microgrids that incorporate our self-developed biomass gasifiers and high-efficiency gas engine generator sets. The biomass gasifier converts locally available agricultural or forestry residues into clean syngas, which is then used by our self-designed gas engines, coupled with Siemens generators, to produce stable electricity. In addition, waste heat from the engines can be recovered for heating or industrial processes, improving overall efficiency.
Our microgrid solutions are ideal for rural communities, industrial parks, and island regions, offering energy independence, lower operating costs, and reduced carbon emissions.
