Wuxi Powermax Renewable Energy Technology Co., Ltd. operates internationally under the Powermax Energy brand.
Powermax Energy focuses on international market development, power solution engineering and overseas project delivery. We draw on an established foundation in engine-based power equipment, manufacturing, biomass gasification and system integration.As our project experience has grown, the team has progressively integrated its engineering expertise with supply-chain resources, building a comprehensive delivery framework for complete energy solutions.
Our business covers gas and diesel generator sets, HFO power systems, renewable and industrial-gas power generation, biomass gasification-to-power, CHP, waste heat recovery, hybrid power and microgrid integration.

Powermax Energy does not approach every project with the same standard package. Engineering Roots
The company’s technical roots began in 1986 with the manufacture and supply of low-speed internal combustion engine generator sets. This early work established practical experience in engine-based power generation, precision manufacturing and demanding industrial applications, while forming a lasting engineering principle: power equipment must deliver reliable performance under real operating conditions.
1990s
Entering Biomass Gasification
In 1990, the technical team expanded into biomass gasification and developed its first 2,000 kW downdraft fixed-bed biomass gasifier.
The system became the technical foundation of the current DFBG Series and extended the team’s expertise from individual engines into biomass conversion, gas treatment and integrated renewable power generation.
2010s
Rapid Business Expansion
As manufacturing processes matured and industry experience deepened, the business entered a period of rapid expansion. Project deliveries increased across multiple applications, while growing international enquiries led to successful overseas projects. These developments encouraged the management team to reassess the long-term potential of international markets and strengthen its global business strategy.

Wuxi Powermax Renewable Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2023 to support international market development and overseas project delivery. Building on the engineering and manufacturing experience accumulated since 1986, Powermax Energy expanded its offering into multi-fuel generator sets, integrated power plants, CHP, waste heat recovery and project lifecycle services.

What We Engineer

Generator Sets for Diverse Fuels
Powermax Energy supplies gas, diesel and HFO generator sets for prime, standby, continuous and distributed power applications. Our gas generator portfolio supports natural gas, biogas, biomass gas, coal gas, coke oven gas and other suitable industrial gases. Available configurations include Powermax 190 and 300 Series platforms as well as generator sets based on selected international engine, alternator and control-system brands. Our diesel portfolio includes Powermax 300 Series generator sets and Cummins-, Baudouin- and MTU-powered configurations. Each unit is selected according to fuel characteristics, required output, duty rating, operating hours, voltage, frequency, ambient conditions and project-specific standards.

Fuel-to-Power Systems
Reliable power generation often requires more than a generator set. Powermax Energy integrates the fuel preparation, treatment and delivery systems required for different power applications. These may include biomass gasification and gas cleaning, biogas desulfurization, gas filtration and pressure regulation, HFO storage, heating, separation and viscosity control, and diesel auxiliary fuel systems. For biomass projects, feedstock preparation, gasification, gas cooling, purification, gas storage and generator sets are coordinated as one power system. For liquid-fuel projects, fuel treatment, transfer, engine operation and fuel changeover are engineered around the selected operating procedure and plant requirements.

Powermax Energy develops complete power systems around each project’s fuel supply, load profile, operating mode and required energy outputs. Powermax Energy’s 190 and 300 Series provide a technical foundation for industrial gas and diesel power generation. The medium-speed platforms are developed for applications requiring stable output, continuous-duty capability and coordinated plant integration. For gaseous fuels, combustion configuration, ignition timing, speed regulation and air-fuel control are selected according to calorific value, hydrogen content, methane number and expected gas variation. External-mixture or internal-mixture arrangements can be applied where appropriate. The 300 Series diesel platform supports high-capacity industrial and power-plant applications. Selected international engine platforms are also available when project specifications, local service requirements or customer preferences call for alternative configurations and service support.

Fuel quality directly affects generator output, maintenance requirements and equipment life. Powermax Energy configures the treatment and delivery systems required to bring each fuel within the engine’s operating limits. Producer-gas systems may include cooling, dust removal, tar control, moisture separation and fine filtration. Biogas applications can require desulfurization, dehumidification and pressure regulation. HFO plants require storage, transfer, heating, separation, filtration, temperature control and viscosity management, with diesel available for start-up, shutdown or flushing where specified. Biomass gasification power generation depends on stable coordination between feedstock preparation, gas production, gas cleaning and generator operation. Powermax Energy integrates these stages as one fuel-to-power system rather than treating the gasifier and generator sets as separate packages. System capacity is determined by biomass availability, moisture content, particle size, ash characteristics, gasification performance and required electrical output. Gas cooling and purification are configured to control dust, tar, moisture and other impurities before the fuel reaches the engines. Buffering or gas storage can be incorporated to balance gas production with generator demand, support more stable plant operation and improve generator availability.

Power Plant Controls and Heat Recovery
Powermax Energy coordinates generator, electrical and plant-level controls around the required operating mode. Available functions include automatic start and stop, synchronization, load sharing, grid-parallel operation, alarm management and remote monitoring across single or multiple generator sets. CHP, hybrid and microgrid projects may also require coordinated control of recovered heat, battery storage, renewable inputs and changing site loads. Heat from engine exhaust and cooling circuits can be used for hot water, steam or industrial processes. Where project conditions justify it, ORC equipment can convert available waste heat into additional electricity, improving overall utilization of the original fuel input and reducing avoidable energy losses.
Engineered for Diverse Fuels and Applications
Conventional gaseous fuels include natural gas, CNG, LNG and propane. These fuels can support industrial prime power, standby generation, distributed energy and CHP applications.
Renewable gases include biogas, biomass gas and suitable syngas. These projects normally require fuel analysis, gas treatment and close coordination between upstream production and generator operation.
Industrial by-product gases include coke oven gas, coal gas, semi-coke gas and other suitable process gases. Their calorific value, hydrogen content and composition may fluctuate, requiring application-specific engine and control configurations.
Liquid fuels include diesel and HFO for industrial facilities, remote sites, captive power plants and locations with limited grid reliability.
Different fuels require different engines, treatment systems and control strategies. Powermax therefore evaluates fuel composition, required output, duty profile, annual operating hours, ambient conditions, grid requirements, heat demand and commercial objectives before finalizing the system configuration.
From Project Assessment to Long-Term Operation
Project Assessment
We collect information about the fuel or feedstock, required electrical and thermal output, load profile, annual operating hours, site conditions and project objectives.
For gaseous fuels, the assessment may include composition, calorific value, methane number, hydrogen content, pressure and contaminants. For liquid fuels, we evaluate fuel properties, storage and treatment requirements.
Feasibility and Concept Design
The engineering team develops a preliminary technical concept based on the available project data.
This stage may include capacity selection, generator quantity, operating mode, fuel treatment requirements, preliminary energy balance, redundancy strategy, plant configuration and project-scope definition.
Engineering and
Equipment Selection
Powermax develops the process, mechanical, electrical and control configuration around the selected solution.
Depending on the project scope, deliverables may include process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, layouts, auxiliary-system requirements, electrical configurations, control philosophy and detailed engineering documents.
Manufacturing and
System Integration
Core equipment, generator sets and supporting modules are manufactured, assembled and inspected according to the approved configuration.
Fuel treatment, cooling, exhaust, electrical, control and heat-recovery systems are coordinated to reduce interface risks during installation and commissioning.
Installation and Commissioning
Powermax Energy provides installation guidance and commissioning support according to the agreed project scope.
The team verifies equipment connections, control functions, fuel-system operation, generator performance and overall system coordination before the project enters commercial operation.
Training and Operational Support
Operators receive training covering system operation, routine inspection, maintenance requirements, alarm handling and basic troubleshooting.
After delivery, Powermax provides remote technical guidance, spare-parts support and operational assistance. Under agreed service arrangements, an initial technical response can normally be provided within 24–48 hours.
